I had a PRP injection in my right knee. It worked about 80%. I might have my doctor try again. I called Medicare and was told that PRP was covered under Medicare. My procedure was done at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. The administrator there told me that Medicare completely covered PRP, and it was. Joe Galiardi

Well I paid out of pocket so congrats Helped my right knee immensely not my left which was far worse since I’ve had MFAT this is where they liposuction, fat cell and inject that into your knee. Also, out-of-pocket much more expensive. I had it done six months ago and I’m thrilled to death so I wish insurance would pay but oh well at least I could afford it.

Perhaps the VA covers it, but not Medicare since you had the procedure done in a VA hospital?
