Hi Everyone,

We just had the appointment with the Urologist, it is looking like they will have to remove my Sisters right Kidney, He said that the tumour/s are at the top entry to the kidney where the Ureter attaches and cannot be removed, and that the Kidney and the Ureter will need to be removed.

Pathology shows Low Grade Papillary Urothelial Carcinoma Grade T2 TCC, no evidence of malignancy identified.

So we are getting a referral to a Urologist in Melbourne that does Keyhole/Robotic surgery.

My Sister is having a CT IVP scan tomorrow with contrast to check that there is no spread and that the left Kidney is OK. He said that the right kidney is actually healthy except it has a tumour in it (Bummer).

Thanks again for your care and help, we really appreciate it.

I feel like you’re telling my story But here I am a year later every three months I get cystoscopy and every three months they find cancer and go in and remove it. There is nothing more they can do as long as it doesn’t go into ureter tube or kidney on the left side I’m in immunotherapy once a month and enjoy every day. I’m having the time of my life doing my bucket list. On my one year anniversary of my diagnosis I went Zip lining at 62 .
