Great to hear you are doing well! Did you add in the alternative support during the first round of chemo and leading up to your surgery? How was the recovery from the surgery for you? My husband’s surgeon said 4-8 weeks recovery.

I had the whipple prior to having chemo. It brought my ca 19 9 down from 185 to 27. The followed that with 6 months gemcitabine
And abraxane. Afterthe surgery, I was cancer free. I recovered from the surgery in about 6 weeks. I started walking and exercising almost immediately after surgery, depending on fatigue. 20 months after the surgery, the cancer returned...and then the amended folfirinox treatment.
I exercise alot now, with weight training and light aerobics.
Trying to eat alot more vegetables and berries.
At present, just had chemo yesterday so the nausea is pretty tough.
In response to your question about taking alternative things during first chemo, I think I only took vit d, 10,000 units daily, green tea capsules and resveratrol. Hope this helps somehow.
I'm sure your husband will be recovering quickly from surgery!
