Yes I had that as well. I could not lay down flat for months. It really scared me, but I found out later that it's pretty normal. Mayo is very bad about doing any followup with patients. It does get better, it just takes time

Glad to hear that it got better over time. Here also its the same, after
surgery same as Mayo. Its just a month after i got surgery on 13 feb and
now my chemo will start on 21st March. Apparently, they do not start chemo
until 1 month is completed and you are healed. I still have dry cough and
have some difficulty speaking but has reduced considerably. But, for last
four day i am getting rash on either my thigh or leg itchy but it goes away
after a few hours and mild headaches to.. scared so will tell the doc when
i go this thursday about it.

If I lay down flat, I cough a lot. If I sit up of prop myself up, the coughing subsides. I am on Tagrissso, it could be a side affect.

My husband is 3 months post Lobectomy and still coughing.

How long did your cough last until you felt better?
