My last CT show the cancer has spread to my liver. Anyone had the same occurrence, and what did your oncologist do? switch drug, go to radiation from chemo to treat the new liver site, or any other. Please share.

Recent article in Nature you all might be interested in. It’s so recent that it may not change current pancreatic cancer protocols but there might be something in this research that your doctor finds applies to you, and be helpful in determining treatment.
My issue is breast cancer, but I keep an eye out for all cancer updates.

I m having a horrible time with chemo, keep ending up in hospital. My CT’s can said cancer has moved to the liver, can this be removed? Maybe with radiation?
Are you aware of what your stage was when you were initially diagnosed?
I was stage 3 pancreatic and have had my pancreas and spleen removed. Have an infection they are going to drain Monday and hopefully find out more I am really nervous about the liver.
Yes! You need a good hepatobiliary surgeon involved in your care.
If there are multiple tumors you may need to continue chemo for shrinkage and there are some interventional radiology techniques that can be used to get you to surgery.
Without a much more detailed description of your situation it’s hard to say which approach. But take heart!
Yes. Liver can be dealt with.
Strengthen your body and your mind and seek the best help. Perhaps second opinions!!
