I am probably an unlikely person to respond because I experienced acute (sudden) kidney failure and skipped the stages. I also had to be on dialysis until my transplant for a liver and kidney, and so everything that I drank or ingested was under the direction of a specialized nutritionist. If you scroll to the bottom half of the page, you will find - Diet and Nutrition. I like this site because it gives you ideas for adjusting your own favorite recipes.
