Good evening. There have been some changes, and we covet your prayers. The surgeon came in and told us that he reviewed the MRI, and he did not get as much of the tumor as he thought. He said that he doesn’t feel confident just trying to radiate that much because some tumors are more aggressive, and it is best to radiate a cavity. Without being too graphic, the tumor was very bloody and close to the jugular vein. It was difficult to tell the tumor from normal tissue with it being so bloody. Long story short, the best treatment plan is to go back in and get the rest of it. The neuro oncologist is also in agreement with this. It’s certainly not what we wanted, but we want it gone. Surgery is set for tomorrow at 1:00 pm. The surgeon anticipates a full recovery. Bryan does have slight fever of 99.1. Please pray for specifically complete and perfect healing, recovery, no side effects, safety during the procedure, wisdom for the doctors. #teambryan Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “

Brinah, I know this isn't the news you wanted. I remain hopeful that surgery is still an option and that the surgeon anticipates a full recovery. It's getting late. I hope that you are finding comfort in your prayers and able to get some sleep. I will be holding you in my thoughts tomorrow.
