I am vouching for the PT. It is all that saves me from my vertigo attacks. Mine was caused frim sudden hearing loss which I never got back. Ask for a PT who has experience with vertigo and the Epley or a similar technique. They have goggles you put on where they can tell which side to treat. They can also show you how to correctly perform the maneuver so that you can do it on your own. I strongly encourage you to go to the PT at least the first time. If settling the crystals does not do the trick, then your ENT can explore other causes after that has been ruled out.
