Oh, good! I was afraid I had said too much . . . I didn’t really want to add more to your plate. I’ve worked in the schools. Teaching is a knowledge sharing and caring field, which means everyone you know there wants to know more and is empathetic. But it does put a load on the receiver of all this. Sometimes you just want friends, want to discuss lighter topics, want distraction from cancer.
I was also hoping you knew that I meant write letters with the kids about common interests, not how you’re doing. As a teacher, you probably have favorite kids books, or science topics, or neighborhood legend to share. Maybe you’re the next Mr Beast 🙂
