@jenc70 I spent a year seeing an acupuncturist weekly. This was before I learned about Cystatin C, the best lab measurement for CKD. My creatinine level eGFR would go up and I felt good about that. The acupuncturist who actually had a PhD from a well known US medical school suggested herbs with my treatment for my CKD. I would be remissed if I gave you the name because my nephrologist and dietitian said no to Chinese herbs. If you are still serious about herbs against medical advice, then just call a well qualified accupuncturist. It may be a dice game though with Stage 3 eGFR Cystatin C. I listed to my doc's advice and never tried it with no regrets today. Incidentally, the accupuncturist told me she also had some cures as well, however, it was acute CKD and not chronic which is a different ballga.e all together.
