You sound like me in kind of being off school about trying new things, from technology to fashion to medicine. I have to see a lot of people try it, or I struggle believing it works unless insurance plans have started covering it. I finally took a step on the wild side & out of my comfort zone and tried a round of acupuncture after a lot of reading and encouragement from this forum. I was pleasantly surprised at the results it had for me. I felt it definitively had a calming effect on my leg nerves.

My therapist didn’t suggest it as an ongoing therapy, which was one reason I was a bit reluctant - I wasn’t looking for a new lifelong regimen since I want Physical Therapy as a main time commitment in my life as needed. There were only 5 sessions recommended, so that had me willing to try it. Good luck in finding what works for you!
