Slightest touch produces pain

Has anyone ever experienced a situation where the slightest touch produces pain and a burning sensation. I have had this feeling on the skin over the tibia for about a week now. A feather can set it off.

I have Fibromyalgia and I feel that way sometimes with the slightest touch. Burning though often times is nerve related.

I would see an orthopedic doctor and see what their take is on this. Have you hit your shin on anything in the past few months? Praying for you to get better.

I was thanking you for reaching out. I will be seeing an orthopedist for TWO torn rotator cuffs and will bring it up at that time. Thank you for the suggestion. As for hitting my shin, I’m not certain, but I don’t think I did. Thanks for the feed-back and all the best to you!
