Any solutions to the Ostomy Bags ballooning? What can you do?

Has anyone had a solution to the ostomy Bag Ballooning and what can you do about it?

I find taking gas-x helps reduce ballooning

That's not the point...Why have they not come out with a product that Vents itself...I have been using these bags since 2002...same thing...nothing new...except the prices...

Thanks, But I cannot see why with the prices they charge, they cannot come up with a better bag. OR...is it that want you to keep changing bags more often so they can make more & more Profits?

Me too, the vent did very little in the way of stopping ballooning!

If the pouch is vented, isn't there an issue with odor at a uncontrollable moment?

Good question, I always wondered the same, they say it has a charcoal filter, still not sure, and afraid to try.
Hope someone answers.

Unfortunately, the vent is practically useless. The charcoal filter does work for odors.
