In "The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat" (written long before COVID), Oliver Sacks tells a couple similar stories that he ascribes to a type of seizure, which could be detected with an EEG. He prescribed an anti-convulsant to one of these patients, and the songs went away. Maybe you should tell a neurologist.

Music in head/earworm/stuck song syndrome is a result of multiple conditions not just seizures. It's offten associated with ocd, adhd, autism, bipolar.

Great book. It was recommended to me. I’m massively into music, and perhaps I’m too used to playing “name that tune” when i hear a song.
When I’m not pacing myself well and am what I “mental overload” I contend to hear songs in white noise, like my furnace, car air conditioner, etc. I don’t know if and how it’s related to my endless ear ringing. My solution is to put on real music. Then I’m not annoyed.
