I am 49 ,, in 2022 I got sick with covid. Since then I have never been able to hear very well. I get pains all the time in both ears . I have had a Ct scan , MRI and ear tubes. Nothing helps and they can’t seem to find what would cause it. I am so frustrated and worried I’ll never hear right again

Lots of mysteries here. We know that Covid can and did cause hearing loss in some cases, but that was infrequent. Other ailments can also cause hearing loss. Sometimes hearing loss just happens. I encourage you to look for solutions for the hearing loss you have rather than seeking a 'cure'. Hearing loss affects millions of people. Causes range from genetic to that caused by illness and noise exposure. The technology available today is so much better than it was even a decade ago. You owe it to yourself to learn all you can about what is available. When you have time, go to http://www.hearingloss.org and http://www.hhf.org for information and support.

Do you use hearing aids? How profound is your loss shown on an audiogram?
