I agree, the doctors and specialists I've seen thus far are at a complete loss and it takes courage to tell them what you've learned about the disease ...My theory is that through my Covid infection the chicken pox/shingles virus has been reactivated. I keep having flare ups approx. since week 5 post Covid - when stressed (such as trying to get back to work or even psychotherapy session). The symptoms are extreme exhaustion and feeling feverish, new swollen lymphnods. My PCP saw yesterday that my throat looks infected similar to a viral infection. She says I must have picked up a new viral infection....I never felt a sore throat - which I now believe is connected to the loss of taste? Doctor says I need to rest, hoping that my body will heal it.
Also I have been having facial pain and a single strange pocklike spot above my forehead. Mentioned all of these to several doctors but noone has put things together.
Has anyone else experienced these symptoms/reaction to Covid and could connect it to chicken pox and more importantly: will this heal? Will the body be able to fight the chicken pox virus or will it keep flaring up as part of LC?
