You are exactly right about nerve regeneration - when a nerve to my foot was damaged in knee surgery, it took 2 1/2 years to heal. When the nerve in my thigh was damaged by hip surgery, it took 2 years, and left one numb patch that still exists after 12 years.

Well that’s great to know .. I always believed it to be true but never followed a specific patient long enough to confirm. People move or change docs or give up so it just didn’t work out.

Curious - were your impacted nerves only sensory or did you have motor loss as well?
