in reply to @saganjames I am so sorry for your problem(s)! Have you tried trigger point injections or a TENS unit? I have similar problems which the ENT doctor will be addressing soon. I have had great success with trigger point injections to my neck and upper back, and the TENS unit has been a life saver in terms of the pain.

I had a stiff neck for 6 months and couldn’t get rid of it. I didn’t have your other problems. I went to a wonderful acupuncturist. It took 2 times for him to totally get rid of it.
It felt like a zing from my arm all the way up to my neck. The pain was instantly gone and I could move my neck freely after that,
