My husband has had his second PRRT and is doing well!

My husband has just completed his second PRRT treatment 2 days ago. As with the first one, he is very tired but otherwise doing well. I am happy with the results so far. His blood numbers have been getting consistently better and mostly in the normal range across the board. With grade 3 stage 4 metastatic insulinoma this is good news. We are nearly 2 years out from diagnosis where he was originally told 6 months. I just want to put some hope out there for those of you dealing with similar issues. Never doubt getting a second opinion, the science is always moving forward. My best to all!

@ricki8

My experience after one treatment of PRRT (the next one in 2 days) is to eat small portions more often and maybe stay away from too spicey. Much like one would do when they feel a bit unwell.
