My husband has had his second PRRT and is doing well!

First, your husband is fortunate to have you supporting him.
Second - there are so many variables that every other person's experience is so helpful.
Awaiting my second PRRT for Grade 2 Stage 4 liver. The 1st PRRT showed no signs after treatment and then 5 weeks later - the S*** hit the fan. Every few weeks another set of weird symptoms caused me to have to get extra CT scans. My Radiologist thought perhaps they weren't related, but they were (incl. a perceived heart attack.
Thankfully, forums like this one helped calm me down and I am back to comfort zone awaiting the next set of surprises.
Oh and BTW, Back in late March of 2023 I was told that I had 3 weeks to live. Research & involvement helps.

Adding a five day SBRT radiation starting next week to hit one lesion in my liver that has been slightly growing. Other lesions are stable. My chromogranin has been increasing and this might be why as I have had many ct scans and mri s that show stability. They were considering ablation but decided this would be best. Looking for a good response. Not sure if anyone in our discussions have had this?

We are well . He has had a bit of intestinal discomfort but not bad. He is over a week out so getting back to normal around the house. I feel he is better than he has been since he was diagnosed. Important to point out that he has been kept on the low dose(5mg) everolimus which I think helps with the sugars that have been consistently good.

I did 5 rounds of sbrt for a lung carcinoid. It went very well and destroyed the tumor. I was just a little tired. It has been about a year. Good luck!

I will be starting as soon as all my scans and bloods are done
Is there any advise he can give?
Maybe what to eat and definitely what not to eat?

It seems he is best with a mild diet. One day he wanted Kentucky fried chicken and he paid for that the whole next day. He tends to do toast on the morning and biggest meal mid day and is best with a light dinner

My experience after one treatment of PRRT (the next one in 2 days) is to eat small portions more often and maybe stay away from too spicey. Much like one would do when they feel a bit unwell.
