I was hospitalized with HE it was the most horrible thing I have ever been thru. Yes it was a test for sure I knew the exact date that I quit alcohol 1/27/20. but if you were dealing with HE things get very crazy!!!
How r your labs/ meld score doing?

The last I knew, my meld score was 14. When I was diagnosed, it was 7. It wasn't long before I had 2 more bacterial infections in my blood and it shot up and then settled back down to 11 or 12. I had another infection and went to the hospital just this past Thanksgiving Day. I think it had settled down at 14 after that? I don't know for sure as timing in my head is way off. I think something was a week ago and my husband tells me it was 2 days ago. I must be a real joy to live with! LOL
