Anyone on paxlovid for long Covid clinical trial?

I’m not on a clinical trial, but I just had COVID again, first time was Nov, 2020 and long COVID til just recently. I took Paxlovid and recovered in 5 days and have felt fabulous since. If I still suffered like I did with long COVID, I would not hesitate to try Paxlovid for long haul.

I'm not on a clinical trial, but was put on Paxlovid do to my having bronchial asthma and age. I truly think it saved me from being very sick. The strange thing was that there was more mucous, but it didn't feel the same as an asthma attack. I was aware of it being there, but minimally aware. I don't quite know how to express it, but I feel it helped me.

I took Paxlovid with COVID in 8/22. I could barely tolerate the taste of metal in my mouth but otherwise it helped me pull out of extreme dizziness, extreme fatigue and extreme coughing. But I pulled out for a few days only and then came crashing down, with a return of all the symptoms plus confusion and weakness. I don’t know if I’d take it again or not.

I had the same experience with Paxlovid, my rebound was bad and lasted for an additional 9 days of testing positive. I felt better for a bit over a week after that but am now suffering from Long Haul Covid (week 10) which seems to get worse, not better. My feeling is I should have taking Paxlo. for longer than 5 days initially.
How have you been doing since your infection and taking Paxlo?

Bit by bit I have improved. I still struggle with dizziness and balance problems but am much better overall. I had Covid again in 12/13 and had a much easier time of it without Paxlovid.

I read some people have had bad reaction to Paxlovid (hives especially), but I think we should have access to it as LC sufferers. Actually antivirals are not new, and a lot was learned about anti-virals while fighting the Aids virus.
Some years ago I took Acyclovir for a shingles outbreak, and it kicked it for me very quickly!
I would take Paxlovid long term if available.
