Yes, this medicine may increase your cholesterol or fat in the blood.

Like has been stated, noone want to have to add another medicine to contract side effects of a drug. In my case, I checked with my PCP and did some risk calculations and did not have to go on cholesterol meds. I ended up going off AIs for other reasons and chol dropped back down.

Discuss with PCP and/or oncologist about your other health conditions and other alternatives.
