After taking ramelteon 8 mg I sleep About seven hours, but when I wake up I’m real hot on my skin shaking and weak. This has been going on for few months. Help !

If it is a tablet can you cut in half?

I started taking 30mg Remeron for Major Depressive Disorder and anxiety. I was told that 15mg will make you gain weight but the higher dose (30mg) will not. Has anyone else heard this or taken this medication? Any success in it working and if so , how long did it take?
