@janflute I am doing Evenity for a few months, and then Reclast. I cannot take Fosamax due to GERD. You could try Reclast (even a test dose, if your health justifies that) and then go to Fosamax if you cannot tolerate the Reclast. Most people seem to do fine with it and it seems- your doc can confirm- that if you tolerated Fosamax well then you have a good chance of tolerating Reclast. Reclast is more potent but McCormick and a mentor on here have described taking Fosamax after Forteo or Tymlos, with adequate benefit.

@destinnana if you decide to start meds, ask about a bone builder rather than an anti-resorptive. You can watch a YouTube video by Dr. Ben Leder on Combinations and Sequencing. Most docs say that it is better to start with Forteo, Tymlos or Evenity and then "lock in" gains with a bisphosphonate like Reclast of Fosamax (or Prolia, which many of us avoid due to problems getting off).

It sounds like your scores aren't too bad. Would you consider a consultation with Dr. Keith McCormick who advises on on-medication approaches ("whole body") as well as meds when needed. He is online at osteonaturals.

Thank you so much for your response. Why did you decide to take Evenity for a few months and then Reclast? I remember that you said that you could not tolerate Fosomax.
