@shelby29 The reason for a Decipher test is to confirm diagnosis of what risk level he is in. It is a genetic test and much more accurate for what risk level accuracy.
For me I was diagnosed at intermediate based on my biopsies. My RO/OC suggested the Decipher and it came back low risk which changed my diagnosis and the treatment plan. I was scheduled for both radiation and hormone treatments. The hormone treatment was removed based on Decipher.
So it could give you a better diagnosis or confirm.
