I was 76 when diagnosed an had radiation and Brachytherapy over the next few months. That treatment held my PC till I was 82 and now am receiving Lupron shots. My doctor thinks this will hold the PC for at least another 4, or 5 years.
There are many treatment option and trust your doctor to come up with a plan that fits your profile. G'luck!

My father-in-law was a physician and he once told me that more people die with prostate cancer than from it. He had prostate cancer and treated it with Lupron. He died at 94, but not from cancer.
