@detc I am curious about what you have posted. How did they diagnose you with Covid vaccine induced neuropathy? I had my first two Covid shots in January 2021. I retired the very beginning in March 2021 and woke up two days later with full onset pinpricks. So I have small nerve fiber no known cause. That was within the time frame for reaction. The other issue that you brought up about osteoporosis meds. I started taking a med that I know caused osteopenia. I was told that it could and it did. I am working to lose weight so I can stop that medication forever. I will be looking to see about any answers regarding this. @rnlorena

My diagnosis was “highly suspicious of vaccine induced neuropathy”. This occurred after my first Covid booster. Originally, I had a very extreme rash response to the first Covid shot. After the booster, neuropathy symptoms began to appear. Because of my particular health history which was excellent, the robust reaction to the first shot, the timing after the booster and the fact that other patients had been coming in and presenting just as I had, my neurologist felt that there was reason to believe that the neuropathy was related to the vaccine. She predicted that if that were the case, there was a chance of a full recovery. Thankfully, after months of difficulty walking, I did completely heal.
I'm sorry about your issues with neuropathy and osteopenia. I wish you all the best.
