Gabapentin? I only took it a few days - it gave me scary psych dreams. Apparently that’s an unusual side effect but I stopped
It. It did help with burning pain but not rib pain.

If you are referring to the back patch SalonPas it lasts several hours - it helped me get to sleep

I’m going to try the salon pad. I’m really afraid to take that gabapentin. Thank you so much

Scary dreams? Interesting. I seem okay with it. It seems to minimize my rib pain. But who knows, sometimes I wonder about the placebo effect. Is that why I have less pain?
I started an ALk inhibitor (alectinib ), I have all sorts of weird side effects. But I check in with the oncologist on Monday. I have been on it for 2 weeks.
Talking about it with others going through similar cancer journeys helps me. This is a rough ride and others don't quite get the impact on our lives. They think, "oh you had chemo, surgery, fill in the blank_______" so you must be all done, feeling good-
