Well, I hope you get some support on Monday- I have the numbness too. Our poor bodies have been through so much.
I haven't heard of BioFreeze is it similar to a lidocaine patch?

There are a bunch. I’ve used Salon Pas and @babs1956 mentioned BioFreeze. One is Lidocaine to numb it. They do help.

I really don’t know, but the Biofreeze takes away the burning for about two hours. I use it 3 or four times a day. It’s a roll-on.

Yes it is similar. I use the lidocaine patch at night before bedtime so I could sleep not that I sleep great but at least I’m not in pain.
