I guess everyone is different! I'm surprised that Alpha Lipoic didn't cause you to lose weight. I don't take it any longer and now my clothes are finally beginning to fit again. I tried buying new clothes but they make them so unattractive these days that I couldn't find anything I liked. Plus I hated buying more clothes when I had plenty and some of them were new but didn't fit any longer!

Good luck with losing weight! I remember how hard it was to lose weight when I was "normal". Just try counting calories and drinking tea with sugar when you feel hungry. It helps get you through to the next meal.
