i'm not going to tell anybody to stop driving. it's not my place to say that. but with that said. a lot of people here are forgetting about the situation with @cathy58. and why her daughter is concerned about her driving now that she is on oxygen. you are not put on oxygen for nothing. many reasons & factors go into being put on oxygen. 1 main reason is lack of oxygen to the brain. lung problems. don't forget the oxygen gets to the brain through the blood. and actually Cathy did not give a reason for being on oxygen. so, please remember these things when advising what she should or should not do.

You’re right I never did say why. But it’s because I have severe copd/ emphysema. Even with oxygen when I am moving around exerting my self I get very SOB and need help getting around. So she wants someone to take me just incase I run into trouble and need help.
I guess I’m just afraid of losing my independence, but I totally get where she is coming from. If I have a hard time at home doing anything I would hate to see if I went out by myself.
I appreciate everyone’s feed back.
