Also, you wouldn’t want to be on this medication regimen, with all the potential side effects, unless really necessary. It’s a puzzling condition. MAC can cause bronchiectasis, but having bronchiectasis can cause you to get MAC. It seems it can be difficult to determine which is the cause and which is the effect.
