Bleeding in stomach

I was wondering if anyone else had had this finding doing an endoscopy. Localized mildly erythematous mucosa with stigmata of recent bleeding was found in the gastric antrum and in the prepyloric region of the stomach.
Makes me nervous because they found blood.

I would be nervous also. Do you have a follow up appoint scheduled with PCP or GI doctor? What symptoms did you have that made them schedule a endoscopy?

I have had ulcers in the past but they didn’t see any ulcers this time which surprised me.

II hav ehad food poisoning from my meal last night.My stools are runny and very black!

If you are still sick and have black stools you should try to see a doctor as soon as possible.
Vomiting?

Those symptoms are cause for going straight to the ER . If it were happening to me I would call the ambulance because bleeding and diarrhea can lead to loss of consciousness. It would be unwise to drive.

Get the help you need.

Very smart advice! When I had a bleed in my small intestine I started to feel like I was going to pass out a few times. My hemoglobin was at 7 which is very low. I had black stools which I ignored.
