diet, diet diet. May not cure it but will make it better. Nutritionists or dieticians can help with guidence. Probiotics, but good ones that are refrigerated ot store shelf.
Has she been tested for gluten intolerance or SIBO? I have had it for over forty years and still suffer. I have had many endoscopies and colonoscopies. All negative. I really have to watch what I eat. I even have an app on my phone called "we can't wait". I have used it on road trips. It's not only debilitating, it's embarrassing.
I eat a gluten-free diet and lots of rice. Rice helps with my diarrhea.
I’ve had IBSd for over 6 years. I had a comprehensive work up at MDAnderson with colonoscopy. Nothing was found and found I do not have celiac disease, just a little sensitive to gluten. I’ve since learned that I’m sensitive to lactose so cutting that out makes a difference for me.
What I do is try to manage it with incontinence type products tat I get from NorthShore supply. And, pray for few accidents. Good luck to all who suffer from IBSd
My wife has had IBS for over 4 years. We would like any help to relief this debilitating disease. She has had both diarrhea and formed stools. We are almost completely home bound.
