I’m avoiding meds at the moment. But I’ll probably need to suck it up at some point. Trying to exercise as best I can and keep my spine from fracture at the same time. I hope things turn around for you with your program of exercise and use of meds. Keep us posted.

I think it's all going to boil down to my FRAX score and risk for fracture. Mine is "high risk." That's the last thing I want so I suspect I'll make the decision to go on meds sooner than later. I want to talk to my primary care physician who is out due to a bike accident. I'm sad for her and the timing couldn't be worse for me. I have an appt with her in mid March but I trust her and want her opinion before I begin so am hoping I won't fracture before then.
