I had 2 surgeries since Oct and I was feeling different when breathing some. I had a routine Dr appt and mentioned it. She did blood work and I has a D-dimer of over 2000. She wanted at CT scan then. It showed a nodule in posterior right upper lobe, one inflamed Hilar lymph node and another questionable one. She now wants a PET scan but insurance is being difficult.
I'm so glad for you that yours is not cancerous. If I understand correctly, you had just abnormal lymph nodes, no nodule or mass. Is that correct?

@skm101 , You've been put through a lot since October, wow! A PET scan is a good next step to see how much activity there is in that nodule. Hopefully she can get that through your insurance company. Having insurance issues just adds to the stress.
I've had enlarged hilar lymph nodes related to cancer in 2020 and related to a fungus in 2023/2024. This past November, when scans showed the lymph nodes enlarged and a new 1cm nodule, we were all sure that the cancer had returned. After scans and biopsies, we know that my cancer is thankfully still under control!, and we're treating the fungus.
