Kay I started have silken armpit lymph nodes a few years ago and they just pop up out of nowhere. When you changed diets did it stop? I know it’s something that is irritating my body but seems to happen randomly and is difficult to diagnose the cause. Always goes away after a few days.

Hi cyrrusdh, Yes, the imflamed armpit nodules that I had for decades went away 14 years ago, a few weeks after going gluten free due to celiac. My immune system calmed down after I changed my diet. You might try a FODMAP diet for a while to see if that helps; it is mostly for SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) problems but it excludes most "irritating" foods so a useful metric (one can still eat chocolate).
