Anyone else get breast cancer after bilateral mastectomy?

I previously posted about this, but asked it in the wrong way. I asked what the chances are of getting breast cancer after a bilateral mastectomy. What I would really like to know is how many people have had this happen to them. If you have had this happen to you, could you please just comment on it. Thank you.

Your oncologist should be able to tell you the odds of recurrence after your successful surgery, chemo, radiation treatments, and any drugs they think you should take to help stay cancer free. It's been 20+ years for me as a survivor, so I can't remember the exact details of the TCNMO ~ numbers. If you do have a recurrence, Mayo is the best, you are in good hands, so listen to your doctors. Good luck!
