Hi, I had a craniotomy in 2013. Recent MRI showed encephalmalacia/gliosis. Dr in hospital told me it's serious and to talk to my neurologist. Neurologist said it's nothing more than scarring and not a big deal. Not sure what to believe.

Hi Krista,
Can’t answer your question but know how frustrating it is to have different people tell u different things. I had my neurologist at first visit say…can’t tell you for sure what brain mri means. The second visit he said don’t worry about it,after saying he would order another mri at some point. Crazy making
