DCIS breast cancer?

I was diagnosed with DCIS in January after a biopsy. Stage 0, Grade 2, estrogen positive. I have had 1 lumpectomy and have to have a 2nd one this Friday to clean up a margin. Today I'll be meeting the oncologist who will be working with me. I'm probably looking at radiation and maybe hormone therapy but I won't know until after today. This has been quite a journey so far - my annual mammogram in December was suspicious which started the whole thing off. My family history of breast cancer is awful so for me it was never 'if' but 'when'. I'm now 72 and feel lucky I've made it this far with no cancer, and I'm feeling very thankful that the prognosis is good. My Mom had it and beat it twice! But oh, the journey is still difficult, isn't it? Like a friend said 'it's still cancer' and that changes everything. I'm so glad I found this site because we all need help in making decisions and voicing our fears and concerns. I wish us all the strength we need to battle this.
