Your case sounds severe. If you had to do over again would you have surgery earlier? Or maybe radiation?

No I would not have had surgery earlier since the cancer was very early stage, minimal, and slow growing as per the genetic testing and I wanted to avoid the side effects of incontinence and ED as long as possible. The decision on surgery vs. radiation was easy for me. I wanted the most permanent solution at the right time vs. doing radiation first and if it failed at some point, prostate removal then became a more intensive salvage procedure due to the radiation damage. Hope this helps but it does come down to your own individual situation in terms of your specific prostate cancer stage, % / # of biopsy cores impacted and comfort level.
