All meds can have a negitive side affect because we are all different. You mention your doctor and your RA doctor. What is "your doctor" specialty or is this doc a GP? Since both RA and Endocrinologist treat osteoporosis, I would trust one of these doctor specialist choice. Of course, if there is a side affect that really bothers you, then you can try another osteoporosis medication.
