The "IS" in DCIS stands for in situ. If they found any invasive cancer, they probably want to check your sentinel lymph nodes. You will probably have an Oncotype Dx test to determine treatment since your cancer is ER+ PR+ and HER2-.

Biopsy pathology and surgical pathology can differ. It did with mine.
