Hi Charles. I’ve had over 45 surgeries for Ehlers Danlos which is a collegen issue that makes me uneven from one side of the body to the other so balance is a huge problem with one side being always shorter. These shoes, once imprinted corrects that difference and allows you to be completely balanced. The wobble board disc in the bottom of the heel also aides tremendously as does the shock absorbing quality of the dense sole. My husband needed two fusions on his spine but started wearing them….never had to have surgery. And neither one of us risk wearing any other shoe. Nor does my sister w severe arthritis. Try them…..they are easy to return if you don’t feel great in them!. I’m in my 70s so I’ve worn nothing but them for nearly 20 yrs! Terri….
