Hello, I have a nodule that was malignant in left lung. But after 2 months of radiation and chemo itis not any longer cancer! But my oncologist is concerned about recurrence and also lymph nodes that lit up on Pet scan. Therefore, she is planning for me to go on immunotherapy. would like know more about it.
I am very weak after the ending the treatments. I did great through the treatments: never had nausea, was able to drive as usual, walks my big dog, eat well. But at the end it all got to me. The radiology oncologist said it is the cumulative affect. He said often it can last a month or two. I dont like to hear that. But I also go my esophagus injured from radiation so that has been difficult. But finally, improving.
Wishing you all the best outcomes for your cancer.

Hi @biebienestar1, That's great news that your nodule has cleared. Your body has been through a lot, and it needs some time to heal. Give yourself some grace, and your strength will return, hopefully with gusto! Were the lymph nodes in the middle of your chest, or further away from the nodule? How soon are they talking about starting the immunotherapy?
