Stage 4 Metatasized to Bones- Anyone at 10 years?

The reason the data is inaccurate regarding Over Survival (OS) with metastatic stage 4 prostate cancer is that many researchers and doctors are still referring to the SEERS data. That data is related to men whom mostly had just ADT treatment. Honestly, doctors do not know what the OS of each patient. It depends on several factors. Age, Other health issues, how well you respond to treatment, whether you can complete all available treatment, Genetics and Genomics etc.

I asked my doctors recently if she could connect me with patient similar to myself. Those who are stage 4 bone only, that received and completed triplet therapy with ADT, Darolutamide, and Chemotherapy Docetaxel.

When it came right down to it - she said she could not because I am so different. My response was different. I had radiation first and 10 chemo cycles which was over aggressive and different.

It just shows you how cancer reacts differently in each persons body.

So, what is left are markers such PSA, Alkaline Phosphate, and scans. Secondary markers are things like exercise, a 70% plant based diet, and mental attitude.

The latest data that came out of the ARSEN trial, showed that of the men that received triplet therapy with Darolutamide - after 5+ years they are still alive and Castrate Resistance is still Not Reached (NR). I would say that is some good news.

Xtandi has now been approved for Castrate Sensitive patients. It appears that the 2nd generation drugs treatments are being pushed to the left outside of the Castrate Resistant area.

This means upfront treatment is having positive OS. Hopefully this also means more treatments are coming for Castrate Resistant cancers too. I'm hoping.

Finally, don't let anyone tell you how many years you have to live. They do not really know. Keep Fighting and trust in Jesus.
