Birads 4 Suspicious
A ultrasound guided stereotactic biopsy is scheduled for end of the month.
Today I had view callback today. She pointed out on sonogram what she saw and wanted to biopsy.
Not sure how long testing of the cells takes.
Does anyone know percentages or likelihood of a nodule/mass being malignant that is classified Birads 4 with the characteristics that my nodule has?

Thank you Dee, 🤗
I am. A liver transplant crossed my mind, but I have other hurdles to overcome to even be able to consider that. My hepatologist has not spoken about a transplant. But if my levels dip there are transfusions so I hear. I need a follow up with him to see where I’m at.
Given all the breast cancer in the family, I would like to get testing done if affordable. I would like to try. After my biopsy is done and the results are in I can redirect my focus to genetic testing.
Just to mention it because it’s in me, I have a few lung nodules. I am due to have a repeat catscan to see where they are at. if someone like me had cancer in one place could it go to prior benign lung nodules turning them? I have an appointment later in Feb w/Pulmonologist. Should I mention it to him the biopsy if it’s benign? Or does one have nothing to do with the other? I’ve heard of metastasis and am wondering…
That would be great! To know would arm me with knowledge to take care of myself properly.
Permissions. Allowing myself that to think, feel and do to care for myself the way i need to to live a longer life.
Thank you!!!!! 💜
@cbrenda1959, I hope you are recovering from surgery well. Was your first surgery a lumpectomy? How are you doing?
Just wanted to thank you. The biopsy was benign with month follow ups…
I appreciate all your help.
