I know you’re scared. I took Xanax daily for 25 years. I was never told by any of my doctors that eventually I would build up a tolerance and it would no longer work. It was a nightmare that I still have not fully woken up from after 4 years of this mess. Please try to get off the Klonopin before it turns on you. Do some research and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. Another thing to consider here is that doctors are becoming extremely hesitant to prescribe Benzos. Should your doctor die or retire will you have another doctor willing to prescribe? You have to bear in mind that the vast majority of doctors really do not understand the benzo withdrawal process and will in all likelihood have you taper the klonopin much too quickly leaving you in dire straits. Something you need to seriously think about. I hate to tell you this but unfortunately it’s true. Please refer to Dr. Josef Witt-Doerring’s videos on YouTube.
