Yes, that's true you can have a stone after cholecystectomy. I had a specific MRI which only showed a narrowing of the common bile duct. And they talked about possibly having to do the ERCP depending on what they find on the EUS. Thanks for the support and glad your issue was resolved with this.

I wish you well and hope that your condition is addressed and resolved. The MRCP located the problem for me and allowed the gastroenterologist to locate the exact location of the blocked duct. Also, using contrast dye is very important. Why not get all of the information that you can ? I don't understand why doctors do not insist on the contrast dye.
